Nearly half a million articles and 8 fascinating new titles have been added to our collection of historic Irish Newspaper. The brand new additions come from all four provinces of the country, include both local and national press and cover the time period before, during and after The Great Famine (1805-1871). New additions include the Belfast Commercial Chronicle, Clare Journal and Ennis Advertiser, General Advertiser For Dublin and All Ireland, Northern Standard, The Enniscorthy News and County of Wexford Advertiser, The Pilot, Tuam Herald and Westmeath Independent. Substantial additions have also been made to three existing titles; The Belfast Morning News, Freeman’s Journal and the Cork Examiner.
