The entire collection now stands at over 107 million national, regional and local newspaper articles from across the UK and covers almost 250 years of British history (1710-1954).

As well as the 14 new titles added, supplemental articles were added to a further 59 titles in the collection so if you’ve already delved into the newspapers before, make sure to go back and have another rummage because there’s always something new waiting to be discovered. Those benefiting from substantial additional articles this time round include The Lincolnshire Echo (452,554), The Shetland Times (205,556) and The Sheffield Independent (170,531).
